As you can imagine - very few people in the company either understood what we were looking for or cared. So let's just say we came up with a creative narrative we were able to use and leverage our way until we finally got to our man. Initially, he wasn't open to our beckonings and gave us bureaucratic rejections. But after a steady two-week charm offensive - he finally withered. The number was released to us at no charge. In other cases a bit more than charm may be required.

We didn't stop there. Over time, we were able to obtain the 888, 866, and 855 Dish-1-Up versions as well as provide them with their trademarked slogan: Disable the Cable. Their business is booming.
